Brisbane Queensland Oaks-Day – The race this time?
Is anyone going or has been racing in Brisbane (Eagle Farm) in time we live now – Are they anything to cancel (fashion shows, shopping etc.) Do many people come. I'll (or supposed to go!), but wondered if it was worth it, seeing that the weather tomorrow is going to be terrible. Anyone been to the after party (after shopping) at Conrad Treasury Casino??
Is not it always the way? It does not rain for months and the same day you need to be well, that is! Unless the sky tonight, and really open in the morning, racing should still be on – it does not really rained that much yet (not on my side of town anyway). Even if they cancel the race, everything else should go ahead. The race is incidental Fashionable still for many people and tents will be business in full swing. You can expect it to be very windy but – I do not want wear a big hat or a skirt floating.
