You have a vacancy, you worked on that kind of person you need to fill the role of both their skills to the attitude and you wrote all this in a job description. The next step when you are looking for someone to fill the role is to people know the position and attract the right person for the role.

What can you do to let people that you know a vacancy? There a multitude of ways you can call right-wing candidate. Here are some of them.

* Placing an ad at a time online
* Log or magazine ad (local state or national)
* A sign in your store
* Ask your employees
* School counselors career
* Put an ad in your newsletter or marketing materials
* E-mail to colleagues
* Contact a recruitment agency
* Check your applications folder

Online ads

Online ads are relatively inexpensive method of recruitment advertising. Australia and seek.com.au careerone.com.au are the major players and it pays to use both of them because they attract different candidates.

It is a fast form of advertising. You can have your ad up that day and get applications coming in a couple hours. The majority of online applications, you hit within 24 hours. That said, try to place your ad on late Thursday or Friday, when most job seekers already have a job will focus on jobs appearing on a weekend. If you post earlier in the week, your ad will appear lower in search listings and may have missed.

Point is others, unless you're willing to sponsor a person with a visa from abroad, be sure to check the Australian residents only need to apply. If you do not, your inbox will be flooded with applicants from overseas which means more admin you spend time in response to all.

All sites have job listings for a great free articles to help you make the most your advertising to verify the resource section before submitting your ad.

Newspaper Ads

Newspaper Ads used to be the only way to advertise vacancies. These days they are quite an expensive form of advertising and are a very process slow.

You must now choose your paper carefully. If your job is unskilled, while local newspapers are very good. If you are looking for a role then consider a document of the state. For more difficult to fill or specialized roles, then look at the advertising in a national publication.

Signs in store

This is a great way to get casual and less experienced local employees. The next time you're in the store a KFC and McDonald's have a look at their posters for ideas on how to make best advantage of this option. A note traditional white A4 paper is not the case today. You must make it attractive to applicants who fulfill the roles for you.

Ask your employees

Ask your employees can be a very effective strategy, especially if you offer the "spotter fee" one for a candidate who obtains a job and is retained after their probation period. By having your employees recommend people to apply, you also get more "Buy" your employees to help address the person in the team and ensure that a person performs to the best of their ability. However, if you do not get references from members of the team you may want to consider if you provide a workplace as is often indicator of morale problems.

The school guidance counselors

School counselors and counselors from the University are an excellent way to attract casuals and students who may be looking for an internship in the future. Form close alliances with your local high schools and universities of a mutual partnership in the long term.

Your own newsletter information or marketing materials

If you have a newsletter or promotional materials usually you can advertise in their number to your customers. Aldi does really well. Page of each booklet is an ad for employees working with Aldi.

Email your colleagues

This is a great way to share those around the industry, if someone thinks to move. If you have an employee who moved to a new area, take the initiative and ask their permission to contact your colleagues in this area on their behalf. He also works in the other direction. Let your colleagues know you have a vacancy and maybe they have an employee who wants adapted to work close to home them or to take the next step in their career.

Recruitment

Recruitment agencies are very expensive, but they can highlight the candidates hiding. In a market that pays poor candidate list with an agency or two and use your own process.

Here are some tips for getting the most out of recruiters:

* Check the fine print. Agency fees vary and payment terms differ. Make sure you know how much and when paid
* Check a reimbursement provision – if the person does not work in the first month usually you get a free replacement (which is only good if there are many candidates on their books)
* Give them a memory details about you and your business. The more they know the best match. Invite them to visit your premises and meet the key people to help them provide visual cues of your work.

Check your Applications

Good candidates often have applications "on the spot." It pays to check with all candidates who have contacted you the last 3 months to see if they are interested in being considered for the role.

Like any other form of marketing you need to use a small number of different channels to convey your message. Do you limit not a single strategy as an online advertisement. Consider running a few different options to attract the best candidates for your vacancy.
