Best way to go from Brisbane to Canberra?
My family is moving from Brisbane to Canberra in June There are 2 adults and 2 children less than 5. We do not live in Brisbane but stay there for one week before moving into our little town has no public transportation there. Our furniture is stored or sold as we have had bad experiences with removalists in the past, if we do worry about ourselves. If we drive and sight see along the way take a plane or bus, we were thinking of buying a new car before moving down to Canberra. I want to drive and a short stay but fear that my children may be too worried. The aircraft is easy, but the bus is cheaper?? So my husband has never been on a public bus all his life, he is 26, and I have not been on one of 7 years. Whoever made the leap before? done with children? Any suggestions would be great.
If you are worried about children not getting dispelled a bus, the children go nuts on the bus. there is not much more room for legs and you can not stop whenever you want. plane would be the quickest way to get there but an adventure touring car is a good idea, be sure to stop at an area children benefit from and make sure they have a ton of things to do in the car while driving
