It is right next to Aussie World, which has more than 30 rides and games that everybody of all ages will enjoy. It will be an experience all day just to Australia Zoo, so you can divide up the entertainment a few days. When my sister and I and his son made a tour of these areas, we have done over three day period.
ZOO Australia is located just 45 minutes north of Brisbane on the Glasshouse Mountains Tourist Drive and is home to some of the most amazing and unique Australian wildlife and a variety of interesting animals from abroad. Your visit to the home of "THE Crocodile Hunter", the late Steve Irwin, will certainly surprise you and make your visit memorable. Everyday Food shows from 10 am until 15:30 every day. AUSSIE WORLD is located one kilometer north of the Caloundra exit on the Bruce Highway the best way to do is drive, but you can take a train to Landsborough and bus from there to the picnic grounds rustic cottage or Chancellor Park. From there, a taxi can take you to Aussie World and Ettamogah pub which is located nearby. As the world turns Aussie starts at 10am and open from 9am to 5pm, but close to Christmas Day. The day of Australia, January 26, 2009, Aussie World is planning a fantastic event for a great entertainment.
THE PUB ETTAMOGAH is a strange icon that has a 1927 Chevy truck above its bright red roof. It is open daily from 9am until the end, but ends on Christmas Day. Bluey Bar and Grill, located upstairs in the Ettamogah Pub is open daily for lunch and dinner 11:00 to 8:00 p.m., but is closed on Christmas Day.
UNDERWATER WORLD, the largest Queensland Oceanarium and Aquarium is located in Mooloolaba. Will be hosted by more than 5500 marine creatures like seals, sharks, stingrays and otters. My nephews enjoyed being photographed background with a beautiful seal after seeing her playful antics.
5. BACKCOUNTRY On your drive for the hinterland, and discover the beautiful town of Montville, which is the home of pottery studios, art galleries, antique shops and fashion houses. Another 20klms north through Nambour Yandina is. You will find the Ginger Factory where you can have an interesting tour and buy gingerbread men and ginger candy made from Buderim ginger quality.
6. MARKETS 10klms Just north of Yandina Eumundi is that most fascinating and popular markets operate every Wednesday and Saturday. These markets are well worth a visit, but be early as the parking lots become full quickly. It becomes a very interesting experience with local artists keeping of children having fun, and more than 500 consumer products superbly built craft stalls, organic products, and a variety of other amazing products. Wide walkways shaded by high world heritage fig trees make walking among the stalls and quaint old buildings a very pleasant experience. My sister and I and his children had a ball.
